Not that I immediately recollect? There is a jump delay, of a fixed length of time, which was inserted solely for people participating in the Corporate Sector Run race. But even that isn't a "nerf" as much as it is an "equalizer" in that everyone takes closer to the same time to load.

I would think small light ships would get closer to heavier ships, not farther.

You spawn in an "area", not a fixed point. There are vectoring aspects, as people discuss, but fundamentally there's also a degree of positional randomization, as well as algorithmic attempts to not place people on top of each other.

Equipment and load-time are probably the biggest factors in a chase. The Hound was made to run people down. Anyway, I don't want to go further off-topic on that.

How about making the Law Enforcement Neutron Blaster firable in NFZ? With it's drop rate nerfed and entering a Capitol system with a LENB equiped or in cargo leading to instant triggering of strike force and a standing tank of 900 units.

Or

Make a LENB MKll that is found only with the Marshall. And killing the Marshall causes permanent, irreversible KoS with that nation. And this LENB MKll is firable in NFZ

I havent killed anyone a in nation space nfz for years.
I just don't see the point besides targeting specifically newbs and maybe one or two mouthy traders occasionally.
You can kill plenty of people in grayspace NFZ, i am nearly 10k pks and i aint particularly nice to wanderers.
Up the game just request to make grayspace far more valuable for trade, greed will make them come out.
