I have grouped weapons into various classes here, on the basis of which my suggestion is based:
Small port:
Class 1: Ion Blasters/Phase Blasters/Plasma Cannons
Class 2: Neutron Blasters/Positron Blasters
Class 3: Fletchette Cannons
Class 4: Gauss Cannons

I have not included ammo based weapons here since my suggestion is a Hive weapon and Hive using ammo doesn't make sense.

We have a weapon in class 1 (Hive Ion Blaster) and in Class 2 (Hive Positron Blaster). However, class 3 and 4 are underserved. Specifically gauss cannons are a very commonly used addon against bots. A major use players have found for hive weapons is that they don't require licences. This is an advantage in helping new players, as we can and do give them addons such as Hive Queen Gatling cannon and Hive fast charge powercell etc to help them with combat. This should be extended to gauss cannons as well. I was thinking a Hive gauss Cannon dropped by Devus guardians, and maybe a Hive fletchette dropped by Fennus.
