And why does it make sense? To me it makes sense that the FCP is 120 which is the same cu that a standard Moth can carry. Why would it make sense to reduce FCP to allow a specialty tpg only Moth to carry more? Why not 80 so a lite Moth can carry it or 60 so a tung maud can carry it or 50 so a tung taur can carry it? What is so special about 100 that it makes sense? If the xc is so important than wouldnt increasing the size to 200 also make sense?
i'll would +1 this suggestion when the cappy over stuffing with XC ships issue is fixed.
We All Float (who is Wash. Why not post on the main account?), the developers said they want to make the game less grind. FCP makes sense to be 100cu. We all know that, so why do you fight less grind so much?
Because a decrease from 120 to 100 isn't a major change. Now your just badgering. You know a change to 200 or 50 would be ridiculous, but you don't have a point so your just rambling.
20cu is the only thing stopping a play from carrying a second fcp. Thats frustrating and otherwise pointless, I could not see a issue with with allowing an extra per xc to be carried from place to place as you still have to make them, and carry them across the universe in mass to their destination. You'd still be extremely slow in the xc with turning and movement because of this, and it would be just as difficult either way.

It is a major change because it is not 120 to 100, it is 140 to 100(with an extra step) . Inc was asked for 100, years ago and didn't do it then, so why should he do it now? 120 fits a standard Moth perfectly. You can use the extra space in a xc/miner moths to carry extra commodities that you'll need in your build.
If this change goes through, instead of people hauling 6 at a time, they will be hauling 12 at a time. Protected by shields. Add in a second cap ship(on follow) and that number goes to 18 at a time. That is excessive.

Players already own multiple capships. It's at a point where people could be carrying 18 already with them, the argument "they will just carry more" when players with capships carry that amount already anyway is meaningless. My suggestion comes after a time of hauling FCP, and would just like to be able to carry two of them in a xc instead of wasting 80cu for no reason because "players already got it to 120! It wouldnt be okay to change it to 100! Game too easy at that point!" like cmon now. I can't genuinely see a problem that would effect this other then being a quality of life change.

Then why not 80 so that they fit in a light moth?

A compromise....
100 cu FCP
FCP mass 1.5x or 2x current.
Makes it possible to carry 2 in an XC, but makes it 1.5x or 2x as hard to do so.

Because my suggestion doesn't change what it would fit in, but how many fit in a xc?

Then my next question (which i alluded to earlier): Why does the fcp need to fit into a specific tpg only ship?
Then my next question (which i alluded to earlier): Why does the fcp need to fit into a specific tpg only ship?
Cuz it's THE cargo transportation ship. Everyone uses it, if they have it.
"Then my next question (which i alluded to earlier): Why does the fcp need to fit into a specific tpg only ship?" it already fits in a xc. This would just reduce it to a size so two can fit into it, it isn't a huge reduction in the difficulty of making a capital Ship, it's as I said, a QUALITY OF LIFE improvement for carrying it. You make 60 trips? Okay, well now you can make 30, but you still have to make the fcp, move the commodities to the place, farm the sss, have access to fcp manufacturing, and then move it again to its final destination. It seems extremely ridiculous that a player moves 4 fcp(goli) or 6 (trident) from somewhere like latos to somewhere like pelatus to somewhere like latos more then 20 times in a row just to finish a project. It's suppose to take a long time, but it's frustrating when you can't do it at your own pace because you have to make double the amount of trips just because you are 20cu short on fcp from being able to carry two in one xc.
This isn't a game breaking vo change, it's just to make it more "I can move this stuff and start working on other parts" instead of "i will spend this entire week solely moving 100-150fcp from latos to pelatus"

You can build at a break neck speed if you hire others to haul for you. This is a MMO. Hire a bunch of capships and build fast.

Not alot of players worth trusting or letting carry your Manu sometimes. But that's more of a "community" thing then a "mechanic" thing.
Well IronLord you could hire Chon-Bo Zelina...try him out. see if he's trustworthy. But still, I stand for the size redux, possibly with a mass increase tradeoff
as a note to this you cant easily offload FCP or easily lod it if your doing 5 at a time i +I IronLords suggestion as i have hauled thousands of these
