Why is it that the text outside stations is magically just there, floating, but you have not one idea what it says?

Suggestion:
The floating, flashing text outside stations is actually words and can be read.

Reason: after a while playing in VO, you start to just explore, and see all the different things in VO. Or you do it as you do missions, this would add to that. Instead of just flinging yourself into a docking back you take it slow and read all the random little things outside the stations.

Counter argument: you get distracted by the floating text, and you slam into the station and die because you were trying to read it.

All my years I never paid attention to the signs and what they mean. Why start a suggestion now? Doesn't even affect game play. I fail to see why this is being proposed and what benefits it would bring. In changing the signs that have a lot of history behind him predating a lot of us.
