Patch notes on start up
For YEARS!!!! On start up you could read the patch notes before logging in. On ios this has been removed (unsure why, I'm not up to date on the why) but I propose that the patch notes be returned, or better yet have patch notes be a toggable function for start up in the settings. Like you log in, then after login if you checked the "toggle patch notes" button you'll get a pop up menu that shows the most recent changes to the game.
My reasoning is because when you started up vo you could see what changes have happened, and adjust to it if it was major. Now? I have to go all the way to the website (this website) and tap the path notes in the bottom right corner (mobile) and read over them to see what I'm missing, and what I already knew.

iOS has never had patch notes. It was removed from Android.

Yeah, we already thought of that. But it's not a top priority. We're trying to localize the game, rework the new player experience, and generally get new players into the actual game. Not having them bail-out due to confusion with the game-launcher is part of that.

O ya on Android, that ye, I understand, and will bring this back up at a later time then
Its simple add it back. Allows people to stay updated + new players seeing the game is updated often would improve peoples views. Atm people log on and go help in 1 and no one responds for hours and hours. Be busy or just not online. More people showing interest = more online. More online = better retention of players
I appreciate that some people like to see the patch log; but we make decisions like this based on data, and actual A/B testing, not opinions (including my opinion).
I'm not ruling out that it may come back, either (or come back in a different way); we're just in the middle of a lot of iterative development and testing at the moment.
