infinite capship shield in NFZ
Objective Mitigating issue with concealed hostile ship in dockbay getting capship collateral kill by SF in NFZ.
instead of disabling weapons in NFZ as suggested in

How about making non KOS/temp KOS capships have infinite shield while in NFZ?
The station would be beaming energy to sustain friendly capships shields.
Aerna seekers could still detonate on intruder without causing damage to capship.

I'm not saying I am for or against this idea. But i would ask starblazz to state the reasons that they think this is a bad idea.

interesting, although magic solution. prefer sf types /explode and I kill the coward in my bay. He'd die many deaths.

Seems exploitable. Picture a cap ship sitting on the edge of NFZ strafing up, shooting turrets until someone begins to deshield them then strafing down to get their infinite shields back. They would be invulnerable to sf and players using this strategy and could camp stations.
If the player did not care about local standings or eventually loosing the Capship once they leave the NFZ they could just sit in the NFZ and kill anything they please for as long as they pleased

rolflor gets why this is a big -1 see my other solution about shields protecting cargo bay from unkeyed.
This is just WAY too exploitable. I'm sure I'd misuse the hell out of this. While that may be amusing for a while, ultimately I think it'd be bad for the game.
