Please fix badge requirements on items in equipment shop
Right now, if you try to purchase an item that requires a badge, it tells the pilot that they need to "complete a mission". Now, *maybe* mission achievements and badge achievements are one and the same to the interface, but explaining that to new pilots is getting to be really aggravating, especially for those non-native english speakers. How much work would be required to have items say what badge they need? They don't need to say what the badge itself requires, I think - that's easy enough to explain - just convincing them that it isn't ACTUALLY a mission tree would be really nice.
I've always had more of a 70/30 split favoring the hiding of anything that is locked behind some mission or badge requirement or that is completely unavailable to the player due to an unattainable requirement.
When the player completes the requirement, it should inform them at that time of their newly available equipment options.

+1
I've lost count at how many times I've tried to explain to a newer player that the Behemoth Heavy Miners requires the basic miner 2 badge, and their response being something along the lines of "but i have mining 4 and it says i need a mission tree". As well as trying to explain that Concussion Railguns are a mission reward and manufactured item and that you can't actually buy them from Sedina D14.
When the player completes the requirement, it should inform them at that time of their newly available equipment options. Also a great idea, imo

Yeah, this has been planned for a long time. Basically, a lot of progression is going to be changed so there's a much clearer path for advancement.
At one time, various parties thought it would be cool to be "mysterious" about what you needed to achieve; but that's just a terrible idea these days, and confuses people (especially given language barriers, etc).
But, I'm mostly focused on the very-early game right now, I'll get to this later.
