gem turret buff
increase the gem turret ammo count to 120.
pain in ass to keep hopping into the turret.

it chews ammo 120 dosnt seem unreasonable, and the fire rate dosnt need changes

They will never be OP... it is an almost useless weapon. Definitely need to do something here.. increasing ammo is reasonable

Gems aren't a capital-class turret, so there's no reason to expect them to have the same sorts of ammo capacity as, say, a caprail. Having to switch to another turret and back is small price to pay for having effectively infinite ammo in such a small package. Pour one out for anyone equiping standard small-port gems, who have both limited ammo *and* have to pay for reloads.

I agree with Womble and his grace.
I wouldn't be opposed to a capital-class gem turret, but we need more capital ship counter measures first (or in tandem).

Just make a bind to enter the turret and hop back out. If you have a ship with more than one turret, then have the bind rip through turrets 1-4 and hop back out. It effectively does what you want here, and is already implemented in the game.
