Energy weapon used by gunners and the capship power cell
Just a temporary suggestion...
1. Currently auto-turret fire of energy weapon drains power cell.
2. Currently a pilot using own turret, energy weapon drains power cell.
3. Currently a character docked in trident using energy turret does NOT drain power cell.
I assume the eventual goal is to use the power cell in all three cases.
In a battle situation a PCB will interfere with auto-turret weapons fire but will not interfere with gunner-bot weapons fire. And also without a PCB involved, a ship firing auto-turrets with energy intensive weapons can delpeate its own cell killing turbo, and this does not happen using gunner-bots.
My suggestion is that until case number 3 is ready to be enabled in the game, energy drain for cases 1&2 not be tied to the power cell either. And another thing, if this is not a quick change to make, don't do it, I'd rather not impede progress to a better solution.

+1. It really needs to be applied across the board. Exempting other-player-controlled-turrets from the drain just puts us back in the scenario in which people with extra accounts have too much combat advantage over others.
Shouldn't the turrets use the docked'd ships power cells first anyways? Sharing the power from the other cells would promote group play.

The suggestion was to remove the advantage of using gunner-bots over auto-turrets. Having actual players in the turrets would be ideal but is rare.

This was fixed in the restart last night. Player turrets now drain like any other.
