Stations Alert Nofication (Webhooks)
Greetings dear developers
I wanted first thank for your hard work secondly i wanted to request a discord webhooks support that owners of stations be able to get the nofication by discord and they be able to share the nofication easier via the discord server to guild members
Like this members of owner guild will be able to get the nofication.
The stations mabey owns by guild masters but members of that guild needs to know when to act

What's so hard of just being online and sending a ping to the guild discord that the stations have been taken or are under attack?
-1. No development specific to a particular 3rd party service.

Not everyone even uses Discord. I certainly don't. We already get emails, you can do with these emails what you wish, including setting up some ping that happens if an email with a certain subject from a certain person arrives. Yes, you could even write a program that checks a dedicated inbox and spouts all the emails as discord messages.
I personally would prefer if things like Discord and IRC didn't link into the games chat either, but I guess I am the minority here. Why do you all need to see the chat of a game you no longer play? 60% of Discords messages are bored vets who don't even play, moaning about the latest updates.

Its not just about discord it can be used on anything we just say that nofications musnt end to an email it must be a way that owners be able to connect the nofications to there guild servers

Again going back to my first post. What's so hard of simply being online and seeing the station under attack? Just hop on discord and do a 3 second @everyone ping? Hope some people log on and that's all you can really do. Discord is not going to solve your problems in VO. Active guild members do.

If we remove the "Discord" specifics from the webhook concept (to sidestep the Discord discussion), it makes it more generically into something that people could use to be notified in a programmatic way. I don't have a problem with that.
More people being notified more easily of in-game activity makes the game more engaging, and pulls more people into the activity. That's a good thing.
It's much like the concept of having the game's mobile version able to push a notification on activity, it would be a good thing for engagement.
But, a webhook system is probably not going to make top priority, in the face of other development goals.
