Add native support for Feral Gamemode
Feral Gamemode is a daemon/lib combo for Linux that allows games to request a set of optimisations be temporarily applied to the host OS and/or a game process. It has since had other features added, and is even used by things like Steams Linux Runtime to squeeze a bit more performance out of some titles. Some games support it natively (ie, if it is installed, they will activate and use it). All games can use it, but supporting it native could bring fresh meat *cough* new users.
I've used it with VO, and I have to say I noticed no difference, so why support it? Well, because they put a nice mention of your game on both their github page, and a link on their main website. It may also point out the game exists to the many many new Linux users that may spring up due to the Deck launching.

Interesting. We'll take a look.
It might be useful to pull together a generalized wish-list, with respect to modern Linux, of what people would like to see (in a different thread).
I know there are longstanding issues with X11 and multi-window and people wanting different "rimless" options and display settings. Linux is kind of a pain in the ass, because of the lack of standardization, but if we have an up-to-date laundry list of what people would like to see updated in the Linux client (again, in a separate thread, maybe referencing/linking other individual-topic threads) that would be useful.

+1
I'm actually quite pleased with my linux client.. and I use a fully compiled distro on my laptop (Liguros ..a Gentoo derivative). The game performs pretty damn good with the libs it is using.XORG/X11 is still kinda defacto on Linux and will be for a long time as Wayland and Mir still have issues that complicate normal usage. I personally have no particular requests for improvement on it, as the linux platform already gives me more freedom with the game than windows users get.
That being said.. how could I not upvote anything that might be an improvement on Linux? I was drawn to this game years ago because of it's native linux client, and we continue to be blessed by as much effort as you are willing to put into one of the rare native linux games of this quality that is out there.
