Introduction of Mobile Suits (Heavily influenced by mecha animes).

Mobile Suits act mainly as fighters in either Hive Skirms or Conquering Stations. They are more versatile than light ships and are smaller targets. They can also grab and attach to ships which can act as mobile turrets for larger ships or destroy ships in point blank range (if the ship has no shield).

Of course this comes with its cons as well

Mobile Suits can't jump from one sector into another. They must be carried by transport ships and launch in the desired sector.

They are versatile but not as fast as light ships such as vulture.

Lore Introduction of Mobile Suits

First seen as mechanized infantries used by Itani against Serco in the Colony War, mobile suits are retro-fitted from ground based usage to adapt and be used in space mainly for mining escorts by mining groups.

Seeing the huge potential of mobile suits, larger factions are planning to use these machine not just for mining escorts but as possible weapons for station conquering and different military tactics such as setting up ambushes.

This reminds me of arch wings from Warframe.
