More cargo space in stations
Hiiii..it's the kid with a t(which for some reason idk why I'm called this) but yeah yeah back to the point.
I think the developers should try to allocate more space to the station cargo. Yes 50k cu is a lot but not for use manufacturers...
I prefer to have everything in a station before i build as not to run around and be disorganized when actually building capships parts.
The developers can make it that after 50k, we then either pay double the price of the standard rent price or whatever creative idea they've got in their head.
I never come to the forums (because it's scary) but this issue has really been bothering me and I'm sure most of the game's manufacturers too...Thank you and have a nice day
Btw has anyone seen Ted?

+1, with exponentially increasing rents. If you want to RP a hoarder, that's fine, but no reason for the stations to subsidise your fetish.
Part of the challenge with rents, is that people sometimes seem to be unaware of what they're getting into, and then write angry tickets when they leave for a few months and come back and a lot of credits are gone.
It isn't quite so bad now that we "stop the clock" on rents after six months of absence (or something like that?), but possible exponential increases in rents will result in this kind of thing happening more often, and to a greater extent.
So, this would probably need some series of custom "Are you are? Are you really, really sure? This is going to cost a lot" type prompts that the person is forced to agree to. Otherwise I foresee a lot of ticket headaches in our future.

Maybe make it so the pilot has the bribe the station workers for more cargo space. Have a mission where a dock worker comes to player with a opportunity. The mission only shows up to someone with maxed rent. The mission would ask for a pile of credits, and maybe something rare from the unknown system. Everyone loves trinkets after all. Event station workers.
That way the pilot is prepaying a for the bribed space for a certain amount of time. But there is risk involved. If they don't keep the bribes coming(once month or bimonthly), then the worker would sell off everything(randomly) in the hold beyond what a normal rent asks for.

Heheh, that's an interesting notion. I'm not sure we have the mission mechanics to do that right now, but they probably wouldn't be that hard to add.
+1 to corrupt dock workers
Love me some graft and corruption. +1.
