If that's the case, anything that reads systemnotes will break.

If it's supposed to be an optional output format, I'm sure it can be done without needing dev work? It doesn't really add anything to the game itself.

That could have a dampening effect on exploration and interaction. We would soon have a compendium of the contents of every sector. I like it when somebody asks where to find a given ore and other pilots chime in.
