I realise that would break the game so I think this is a fair compromise

What is this Star Trek?? A trident just doesn't get all the scanners built in and 10k radar range. A trident is just a frigate, in fact it's smaller and weaker then the NPC tridents. Like a bootleg trident? A trident mini? I remember it's like based on reversed engineered hive technology. M,P,S I can't spell them correctly.

This is a trident not a teredeon (mind the spelling).

Please take time to make suggestions and think them out. A clear -1 from a non trident owner.

Anyway, I actually kinda agree with 10k radar ranger. Why does a capital Ship have the same radar range a normal ship does? All the mineral scanner stuff and etc? No

+1 to all sensors. A capital ship should be at least as equipped (sensor-wise) as a UDV.

The UDV has all the sensors under the sun. The Miner Moth II has a built in scanner, the mineral hog has a built in scanner, the hound has a built in scanner. Why not the trident? There is an equipable LP mineral scanner, though it only has a range of 700m.

I know everything needs balance, so instead of saying we just give these ships the scanners out right, how about make it an equipable LP thingy.

None of the scanners are better than a purpose built sp scanner, but you get a better selection of them. You also get a weapon, that is ok, but not great. Give the whole thing a grid of 21.

Okay, this should be in production now:

- Trident and Goliath-class capital ships now include scanners for cargo (2000m), addons (2000m), asteroid temperature (500m) and asteroid mineral content (500m). This joins the existing sensors for ion-storm radar extension, as well as grouped shared-radar AWACS capabilities up to 2000m.
