Conq station delay
This is being posted as a new thread because this specific part of a larger suggestion was interesting to another person.
Conquerable stations should enact a timer after being conquered that makes it unconquerable for some period of time.
8 hours seems to be agreeable to some.
Originally this was coupled with suggestions about making the station harder to conquer. I believe that an 8 hour timer may be frustrating for players without buffing the station in some way. See suggestions:

much could be done to make taking stations a larger undertaking in general, as it should be.. since IT'S A WHOLE SPACE STATION! It is currently a hassle that a single player can take the station and it is also a discouragement that some group or single player could immediately take it back. The new owner should have enough time to accomplish the manufacturing he/she fought so hard to gain access too.

I dont believe we need to put in huge workarounds cause no one can be bothered to defend or retake them

The problem isn't as much about being bothered to defend them as it is that the lack of difficulty taking them means you can lose them before you make it back with your first load to manufacture. I think that needs to be changed, but that's just my opinion/suggestion.

-1. This would just make guilds retake stations as the timer ends, turning into a never ending loop of unconquerable stations

Not 100% sure if this is what IronLord was getting at, but a guild could take the station, then 8hrs later, the same guild retake the station.
If the "Issue" is the station's are "too easy" to take, then increase the defenses, don't make a "Conquerable station" "Un-conquerable".

Immunity should only be for newbs in Capitol systems. I would be fine with temporary buffed defenses upon conquering.
It seems like there isn't much traction on this concept; but perhaps the temporary-buffing thing could be posted in a separate thread, with specifics on how much the defenses would be buffed, and for how long.
