When i think of a nuclear weapon capable of mass destruction, i think "a sickly radiate green", not neon purple club light. Simple suggestion to make the avalons color a dark greenish color, with slightly more visibility from a distance when shot.

The TU mine is clearly nuclear, and it uses energy to drop. So that sounds similar to the Avalon. It is a sci-fiy game, so in the VO universe, the energy might be needed to unsafe the weapon before deploy.

Being a torpedo does not mean it is not a nuke. Nukes can be fit into many types of delivery platforms.

I think it would be a bright white. I'm not certain of that being colorblind, but if memory serves the starfish prime test was basically a white flash. It then dropped down the visible spectrum as the plasma cooled.
