Currently, storage capacity at all stations is 10k cu before rent kicks in. As a result, storing a capahip in a capital station immediately triggers the storage limit. I propose increasing capacity to 30k cu before having to pay rent at a capital station.

+1 I totally support this and not just because of the rent, how about if for example, you strategically leave your goli in odia m14 for quick unrat intercepts,then you come in your dent and realize you want to go somewhere fast, now you have around 30k cu already without adding the stuff you are inevitably gonna unload there because it's a capital station.

Rent money is nothing when you own a cap ship.
let's do math M14 rent for 30kcu is less than 8k/week, it makes approx 400k/year : running a single escort mission already pays for your annual rent already, shooting a tunguska moth provides this amount also in less than 10mn.
with an average 100mil fortune which is very low for a capship owner, it gives you 250 years before spending your monies in rent if by chance you would leave vo for a time, 50 years if you had docked with 5 stations and forgot to release the rent space.

This suggestion is just ridiculous and a waste of dev time.

The issue is the crystals, not the credits.



Lite accounts use crystals while being able to have a Goliath. So this suggestion is about reducing crystal impact i think.

Lite accounts have more than enough already there has to be a reason to sub

While i'm all for further incentivizing premium subscription, I don't think the storage cap should be among things affected...
