Make pcb blasters and law neuts drop!
There are certain NPCs in the unknown system that are armed with power cell blasters and law neuts. When those npcs die, they should occasionally drop their weapons. Doesn't have to be a high percentage, but it should happen.
Same thing with unrats.

Actually, it should happen with SF, seekers, and unrats too.

It does happen with SF and seekers, that is where the games current supply of law guns/seeker launchers comes from. But +1 to any AI equipped weapon dropping.
If they don't want an NPC to drop a certain gun, then they shouldn't give the NPC that gun.

especially given the recent nerf to law neut farming by other means. And unrats should ABSOLUTELY drop law neuts and pcbs.

It is actually an error that some of these NPCs don't drop the weapons they have in their load out.

Only if it was a very small chance, otherwise people will mass farm them like they do with every other piece of content, devaluing it completely.
mass farm them
Mass farming lenbs and pcbs from the bots in the unknown system is kind of hard. The game has mechanics in place to make it hard. That should not be an issue.
And about value: I believe one of the devs (correct me if i am wrong) stated at one time that values we players put on things is kind of excessive anyways.

The Unknown System is basically a testbed location where we're trying new bot behaviours and AI. That could make it a very bad situation for potentially exploitable circumstances. So, they are not going to become prolific item-droppers for the moment.
The fact that they don't drop those items is not an accident.
