i would like it if people could give their ships or equipment to other players

You can give equipment, and as long as they take it to a station that doesn't sell it (like Latos M-7), they can usually equip it without worrying about levels or badge requirements. Ships are a bit of a hard one, as there are a few ships that are restricted to a particular nation, and being able to transfer ships might not be something the devs actually want.

Trust me, Sercos in Valks and Itani's in Proms makes no sense.
