One way I have found that works is to buy an EC just before doing the final mission or insurance mission as that color will be already set so it is the color your cap will end up being.

I know you can set the Goliath's color, I would like to be able to see what the color is going to look like before I manu/insurance it.

This continues to be an issue.. I do hope that Incarnate does have a solution on the burner somewhere
