tonight I killed one player in valent. After many hours I am still temp kos. why? do kills from days ago get included? it should be a 12 hour rolling count. And... strike force should be responsible for what they hit.

if you kill three players within a single faction within seven days you get 24h kos. strike force is spawned due to your actions, leaving you completely responsible.

edit: ps, if you violate a single factions nfz six times in 24 hours, you also get 24h kos. kill or no kill.

Seven days should be 24h.

it really shouldnt. even the worst of worst and notorious pirates know when enough is enough and where the line is. camping level 0/1 players in nation should come with much stronger penalties, not lighter ones.

Nobody was camped. Even low level players want interactions. That's what kept me coming back. Remember, some want to be shot. They have a choice.

you are complaining because you broke the rules and you dont like the consequenses

you spawned the strikeforce so any damage they did is your fault

if you want easy kills sit in latos H-2 and wait for stray noobs

or man up and go to sedina B-8 where you might find someone who can fight back

Nation space is supposed to have relative safety. Grey space is where the credits and adventure is at. Don't get me wrong you can still pirate in any nations space. It's just slightly harder. I just hate how this suggestion is so self centered and more of a wine thread that hes still KOS. Don't forget its not wall time now its in game time.

So why would we make Nation space penalty for breaking the law lower for rule breakers and punish us law abiding citizens? They are the nations they craft the NFZ laws. They impose any restriction they see fit. It's their space not yours. You are not above the three nations.

not true drevent, the 24 hour temp cos spawned them cause the station trackes if I killed someone in sector space over 7 days. Nuetral people shouldn't get that level of protection. This game is going to lose my and other non-trader interest if three kills of three different neutral players in their pace over 168 hours causes 24 hours kos. Especially since there is no way to look it up. I don't remember how many people I killed in different sectors over a 7 day period.

It would be better to reduce that to 24 hours or up to 36 hours, but it should be IF it's the SAME player. This level of protection makes faction standings mute.

Death456, the new rule isn't necessary. it protects hated and disliked players as well. If I want to kill a griever three times that shot at an insured player, why should their be penalty? This 168h tracking rule should be lowered --OR-- it should be the same player 3 or more times over 168 hours. I still think those with admired or less should be free game.

My understanding is that you get a 24 tkos if you kill three non hated/dislike player pilots in a 24 hour period. Not seven days as you stated. My understanding was formed from my own experiences.

We all float, no, the update tracks a 7 day 168 hour window. The neutral guy that triggered mine was the first time I remember ever seeing him. And I haven't killed anyone there in days.

edited to add: who's memory is that good to remember where you shot someone 167 hours ago especially since it's not even the same person??? It's sillly.

NPC's are shooting at an admired player in NFZ they should take faction lost Valent is now Biocom KOS... This is how STUPID the new rule is INC... please respond...
