Crystals and credits for freemium
For full subscription player it's kinda easy to get credits, one way is to get a golitih, trident,or a xc and go buy some small weapons and go sell them to another station for profit, But for lite or freemium players you either have to mine or find a slow but steady source of income.
I think it should at least give your crystals that you spend of those small/large weapons.its not easy getting crystals as us especially with the daily cap. Lets not make it harder for freemium players to get credits aswell.
In conclusion,I think that when you sell a weapon you should at least get those crystals back that you spent on that weapon/weapons.

+.5 credits are easy with a simple atlas and trade procurement missions... you typically can make double what you put in.
There are procurement jobs that pay pretty well.

No, I'm not going to do that.
Your argument starts out like "It's hard for newbies to get Credits" and then ends up as "And in conclusion I think they should get back any Crystals they spend". Those don't seem very related. If, hypothetically, getting Credits is too hard for low-level players, then we should change some aspect of acquiring Credits.
- Credits are a completely artificial gameplay construct.
- Crystals are what helps keep the lights on and the servers paid. They are not the same thing, or even related.

In my experiences I say credits are quite easy to obtain. Even crystals I think the current system is fine. Grind for a couple weeks for credits and crystals if you don't like crystals then you sub its really simple. And honestly you don't even need insane amount of credits in VO to have a great time all you need is about 10mil and 100 crystals and go out and have fun.
Crystals are to nudge people to sub and get great perks in VO and so on and so forth.
Just my two cents.

@inc I think he subtly meant to allow f2p to do weapons trades, which is why he wants his crystals back when he trades them.
I think mining is a good way to earn credits, it just needs a few buffs.
Queening is also a decent way to make credits, sell rare drops to someone who wants them.

Ahh, yes, that makes more sense. The fact that trading weapons happens to be profitable. But, really, I think that means we should create a broader set of opportunities for profit, not make crystal Refunds.

i think death456 is right: refunding crystals on weapons trades will just discourage people to stay or become premium.
