Helping noob retention

Roaming NPCs that provide missions or provide actual hot tips on local trade
Space creature sightings
Abandoned shipping containers with a little loot in them, maybe a rare drop
Temporary wormhole takes you to an unusual location
Roaming NPC makes repairs on your ship
Moving asteroid with rare ore floats through. It could be mined or perhaps just destroyed and ore scooped"

Honestly, the increase in NPC's around the place and unrats help. Perhaps a little more to do/see/make early creds could help keep the noobs playing?

My take is that, most noobs are on mobile, where pvp is much more stunted fundamentally. A lot of noobs I see are trying the more trade/mining orientated gameplay styles- which is great but can get boring.

that was why i made my suggestion, too. Newbs in uit only get excitement in verasi, nyruis and azek. Getting rid of arta protection adds another system of excitement. I just told them I had my shield up in dau ;).
