Loading fighters into capitol ships.
Currently when I load a fighter into one of my capitol ships, I cannot see what the fighter has equipped or in cargo. Could there be some way to do that? Maybe something like when you are looking in your global inventory?
Why would you want to see if your ship had power cells and weapons equipped before loading it in your capship?
+1, I sometimes load up ships without cells, and there's really no way to check this through inventory.

This would greatly aid in figuring out which ship has the PCB or the CUP or the AAP/Suns or the rep-guns vs Chaos for a set of rags, etc.

Am I missing something here
/tactical/hangar/shows ships in cargo and what they have equiped and in thier cargo

Drevent I'm talking about in the station. When you are at the load/unload cargo screen. I'd like some way to expand ships like you can individual locations in the main inventory screen.
So you are saying you'd like to know what you are loading into your capital ship in station before undocking, as opposed to how it is now where you have to basically identify your ships exclusively by their mass across two different screens of the UI?
@Drevent
You see the loading graphic? The only way (currently) to differentiate the two EC-89s by mass. It would be nice if there the ships also showed what items were equipped and what cargo they had in them.

When I go to the page where I launch ships from my Dent, it shows how the ship I want to launch is equipped. When I go to the Inventory page, I can double click on Dent to see what cargo, including ships, is in the hold. I can then double click on a ship and see how it is equipped.
I am not sure about on the Goli though.

The way I currently do it, in case anyone is interested, is I look at the mass when I set the ship up. Then as I load the ship on my Dent or Goli, I look for the one with that same mass. Unless they're all loaded out the same, the mass is nearly always going to be slightly different.
Perhaps someone could make a plugin that color codes the list based on mass.

We created this some time ago, but didnt released it yet, here you go:
http://www.voupr.com/plugin.php?name=advancedload
Adds a button "Advanced Load" to the cargo load section.
You can load/unload cargo and ships, showing their contents, power cells and addons.

^What's wrong with this method?
I mean, lets say I go to the grocery store and I get some eggs, some vegetables, some packs of soda and some bread. When I get to my car I'd like to make sure the eggs are not placed underneath something heavier. So I would simply then take all my items and weigh them, write down their masses, and note the specific mass of the eggs. Then I would have someone else come and load my car at my direction, according only to the masses of the items.
This way I can easily determine which items were the eggs (having committed their specific mass to memory), as opposed to the more difficult method of visually seeing which items were the eggs.

Imagine I have a family of five, and I just did a full grocery shop for them. On my way home, I come across a protest.
Now, I want to participate because I see a target that's moving and going to be gone in a few seconds. It would be nice to know which bag has the eggs in it by looking at it. And which bag has the potatoes. Maybe I want to egg the target. Or maybe I really want this target to know I was there and my potato gun just happened to be handy (as all potato guns should be).
The green bag has the eggs.
The blue bag has the Potatoes.
The red bag has marshmallows (those are for later roasting over the burning tires).
It's all about picking your bag quickly and not having to mess around.
