player created missions
allow players to offer good pay for things at stations and maybe even a mission at a specific time to help do something. Only for a week out and the payment gets withdrawn when the offer is made. If nobody shows up, the player gets their money back. If the player doesn't show up for joint missions at the specified times if that was required (like for botting), the joiners still get paid when they show up.
I opted to look for more player interaction by offering myself for hire and I've enjoyed it. I think if that could be incorporated into the game, others would enjoy it, too.
Even if we started out with allowing players to request x amount of sss or any other commodity at a station at a good price, that would be good. There could even be a separate tab for player requests so we can look for profitable ones sorted by profit by cu.
Think of it as a player created manufacturing mission for pay. And, ability to do this could be based on subscription level.

This has basically always been part of the intended design of the mission system. Currently, it's slated to appear as a function of player-owned stations.
Still, perhaps there's some more near-term, minimal implementation we can do, prior to station construction. However, it's still fairly involved to add.
I would also like to have the Latos-style economy more widespread before doing something like this, because it uses many of the same mechanics.
