I'd like to suggest versions of scanners like Cargo Scanners and Add on Scanners have a large port equivalent. There are occasions where it might be handy to put a scanner on a Hog 2 or WTD and still keep a small port weapon like a neut or aap. Or perhaps an Axia Wraith with a pair of neuts/aaps and a scanner.

The obvious trade off is not having the large-port weapon.

Another upside of this is that you could put a scanner or blocker on the left-over large port when you don't have enough grid left for a 4 grid megaposi or gat for your capship. Being able to run a scanner blocker or spoofer on a capship seems to be a good use of these mostly unused addons.
