I think it would be hilarious to have a few turrets around the sector 7 station that you could access from the dock screen, but you would have to pay 1,000 creds or so to fire it for 30 seconds. It would be like those quarter operated binocs at all tourist hot spots. The turrets wouldn't be anything too powerful or unbalancing, just popcorn guns and such... more of a fun distraction.

Nah, I think the player should get paid 500 creds per kill instead.

100. If you make 10 kills, it pays for itself. Put it in a sector with bots, though.
