Capital Concussion Railgun
I've made suggestions for offensive capital weapons in the past. Most capital weapons are defensive in nature. What I mean by this, is that they can't be used effectively under normal circumstances against a fleeing capital ship. However, a fleeing capital ship can fire at an aggressor with more effectiveness.
The most effective capital weapon available to players for offensive purpose(imo) is the Capital Cannon. The capital cannon has a very good auto aim, and is not limited with poor range of motion (like the capital rail cannon is). Furthermore, it only weighs 100kg. Using it offensively still requires the cap ship pilot to lock turbo and use a turret, or have gunners on board.
I propose a LP Capital Concussion Railgun. While i have proposed items like this before, I have made a few tweaks. This version will have no more than 20 rounds and will NOT be reloadable. It will require a Samoflange to manufacture it. Being a variant of the concussion railgun, it will not require any energy to fire. It will require a high grid(55) to keep the chemical reaction in check. It will also have a high mass on the account of the Samoflange and other parts required to manu it. Every manu mission will create two weapons. One being a training Capital Concussion Railgun that does zero damage, and one being the real deal that does 50k damage. This will be a large port weapon.
The high damage potential is offset by the manu requirements, the grid, and that it is NOT reloadable.

+1 except for samoflange in manu, make it a queen core or something else.
My reasoning for the Samo is this is what the ammo is made from. While rare, it is not super rare. It drops pretty frequently with Levi kills(in addition to free Samo each alt gets if you do a certain mission) . This means the weapon would not be overly common.
I think you're out of the curve if you think samo is not super rare. I've done levis and only saw samo dropping in like 1 out of 10. If you don't want it to be overly common, maybe throw in a queen defense matrix or some other hive rare item, but I think the samo would be too much imo.
I'd say Samo drops 30 to 40 percent of the time. Plus old vets have hundreds to thousands of it from when it dropped like candy plus there is the mission tree where each alt can get one for basically free. For example, I got about 15-17 from my roughly 50 Levi kills. It is not as rare as you think it is.
Even if I built 2 capships with my stock on each alt, I'd still have 3-5 left over for Capital Concussion Railgun manufacturing.
With how common cap ships are these days, cap ship owners can group up in numbers of 6 to 7 with mega posis and basically speed farm levis.
Queen cores and queen matrices are super common in comparison. There is an active player that that is closing in on 4k queen kills (congrats to them, btw). That is a lot of cores and what not floating around. If that drop was used for this manu, then every single player in this game would have this weapon. Even those without capital ships.
On another topic: As I said, this is a rail gun with a very dense ammunition. So dense, that it requires a capital ship platform to fire it. My entire idea for this weapon came out of this thought: "wouldn't it be cool if we could take the most dense material in the verse, and place it in a sabot and fire it a rail gun just like our contemporary military does with 120mm depleted uranium discarding sabot rounds". Take away the samo, then the basis whole idea is gone.
