I have an idea of how to become unaligned. Make it so you have to get your first kill badge while in a corvus basic flight mission. Then a mission tree detailing how to shed a player's birth nation would pop up. Complete the steps, and now that character will be unaligned. With ZERO way of becoming aligned again.

This would mean that only new characters could become unaligned, but that is fine because because we get six slots per account.
