Could you possibly add a "Disable Radar Transparency" checkbox to the Options> Interface> HUD Settings menu?

A lot of the time, the beautifully detailed backgrounds of the 'verse passing through the transparent radar scopes can make it challenging to sort out all the info in well populated roid sectors.

You could try replacing a file from a reskin to give you this.

or you could just turn off the background in settings that will also save your battery and cpu assuming your on mobile

i do turn off the background quite often...seems a shame to do so, Drev ;)

Lux, so, you mean editing an existing skin to just blackout the background of the scopes? i might try that :)

that is indeed what I meant. Unfortunately, there isn't a skin file for the grey UI theme, and the Blue ui scheme might be a little outdated if you can find it, so you'll have to take one of those.
