Android screen controls customization
My first suggestion is that you update the touch interface with customization options, so that we can invert positions of joysticks and place them wherever we want. EDIT: the option of inverting the joystick positions is there, you just have to quit the game and reload for it to take effect.
Interesting. There are some options under Controls -> Touch, with some mild re-positioning, along with swapping sides if you prefer.
A fully dynamic system would be better (there is a user-implemented "plugin" version, DroidButtons), but it's a complex undertaking to make it look reasonably good, because of the sheer density of HUD content.
I'm not sure if we have joystick axis inversion or not (if that's what you're asking for?).. we have axis inversion for a lot of controls. If we don't have that on touch, that's probably something that would be easy enough to add.

We pushed the update allowing swapping-sides maybe two months ago, so it's "relatively" recent.
The Android version now specifically drops people in Controls -> Touch, to reduce the chances of their accidentally ending up in Joysticks or some other unhelpful area. So there should be less chance of that as well.

I have tried it (I'm the one who posted in bugs thread), but it didn't work. I'll try again as soon as I get home to see if I was too dumb to get it right or if it truly doesn't work. I'll get back ASAP.
Okay, or I'm too dumb or it doesn't work... EDIT: It works, just activate the tick, quit and reload game for it to take effect, doh.
It should be? That's weird, it was definitely working a month or two ago.
Please update the Bugs thread, and I'll let Ray know.

Perfect, moving my reply there :-) EDIT: it works, but to get it to work you have to quit the game and reload, it doesn't change it when you click apply. Since there's no message saying "reload game for change to take effect" not similar, I didn't try it until now... Sorry.
Thanks, we pushed an update tonight to make it work more immediately.
Thanks Incarnate. I've just checked the Google Play store and it's not live yet. I guess it will take some time for it to be approved. In any case, I've noticed that when you invert the controls, the shoot button doesn't change and is still on the left, which makes it much more uncomfortable than with the standard layout.
If you find the time, a great addition for this would be to let players choose the layout position of the buttons, being able to move them around the screen to put them where they suit best to each player. Nonetheless, I understand this is not easy to implement... But I suggest it, just in case :-)

VirtualBoyFreak, updates to Vendetta Online are 99% of the time handled in the game itself; what you download from the playstore is akin to a launcher, and that doesnt too often need updating itself.
As for your wish for a redesignable flight interface, the community has you covered already! As incarnate had mentioned, there is a utility called "DroidButtons" that lets you do that; you can watch this to see how to install plugins, and then watch this to see the basics of setting up DroidButtons. somewhere in the android forums I have shown off my DB setup, but everyone is different ;)

Thanks Luxen, this time around it was a Google Play update, which is available now :) also thanks for the heads-up regarding DroidButtons, I'll check it for sure.
Actually, Luxen is right, it was pushed immediately as a dynamic patch. It's the game's dynamic patches that really matter, not the Play Store stuff. The Play update was pushed for other reasons.
Anyway, glad this all worked out, we appreciate the report.

Lol, thanks for the heads up :) I'm also happy it worked.
