In VR, I like to use "Steer With Head Tracking", with the "Look to Fly, HUD locked to ship" option for combat. This frees up a few axes on my gamepad, and allows for more precise targeting. Outside of combat, I prefer to have the "Steer With Head Tracking" set to off.

Swapping this setting in the GUI takes several steps. A command to set "Steer With Head Tracking" would be useful. Alternatively, or in addition to this, a function and/or the "VR Options" table name would be useful.

This would be a great quality of life improvement. Ideally, this would happen with a button press.

Agreed. I was thinking of a command like "/headtrack", with a 0 to 4 argument (0 being "Off", 1 being "Look to Fly, HUD locked to ship", etc.).
