Add resetovr to bind menus.
It is a much needed command in VR in my experience, even just adjusting the headset on my head can sometimes throw off the forward position enough for me to notice. Anyway, it is easy enough for us pro's to type /bind resetovr BLAH but it would be a lot easier for new VR users to be able to bind this via the Keyboard and Gamepad menus. Oh and also on mutliclick.
+1 on that! I have a wheeled rotating office chair; so, needless to say, I'm quite often accidentally change my position in relation to oculus sensors :)

On mobile, can't you just do the press-and-hold action on the remote's system button?
Oculus deprecated the recenter action on Mobile so you would have to use that when we release an update with the newer SDK.
But we'll add it to the list of available commands regardless.

No, holding down the system button does nothing, at least on the Oculus Go. The only obvious way to reset orientation, is to go to Options > Advanced > VR Options > Reset Orientation (button). Sometimes you need to reset your orientation quickly, and in those cases, this is too slow. Maybe enable the system button too?
The System button thing used to work, and I thought it was even a non-override-able function. But we'll look into it.
Unfortunately, as Ray mentions, the functionality provided by "resetovr" has been removed by Oculus from their SDK. And unlike what Ray mistakenly implied, we will not add it to the available commands list if the command doesn't do anything.
But, we will look into this further, and see what options are available.

Is it possible to add that functionality to PC version of the game for Oculus Rift/Rift S?
Well I hope you can implement something, because I do tend to take my headset off a lot in long sessions, which can throw off the orientation. I guess if Oculus have removed it there will be no other option, but maybe we should complain to them about that.
Will that also break your "Recenter" button in the VR menu? Or if that triggers differently, can that be somehow tied to it? I doubt I will be able to play VO for long if I cannot recenter quickly, it does drift from time to time (especially if I forget to run one of those compass apps, they really help but..) and even adjusting my comfort after a long-ish session can throw the view way off. Recentering with the "system" button seems weird for me, it does something, and works in system menus and _some_ games; but in most it doesn't seem to actually make a difference. In fact using it can throw-off center and make things worse.

incarnate and raybondo, thank you so much for adding reset VR button!!! (windows version with Oculus Rift)
I use the oculus go, and the only thing I need to do to reset the orientation is to take the headset partially off and then put it back on...it is a lot quicker than going into the settings and looking for the button.
