Guild tags in char select menu
Remen suggested we implement char name colors in char select menu, I will build off of that and suggest we add the guild that the character is a member of in that very menu. I think both ideas are a good idea, but it's all up to Inc.
+1 I put together a basic plugin, but that's just a hack. I can see if I can add the guild tag, but I'd rather see a more permanent feature. That screen seems to dynamically update, so the plugin is always having to reset the colors. That's why sometimes you'll see a flash of the underlying blue color of the font.
Added guild tags to the Colorize plugin.
Because information is restricted prior to login, you will have to log into each character. The plugin will add a line to the config.ini file with your name and guild, which will be read and displayed from that point on. If you change guilds, it'll update the tag at the next login.

Enjoy.
Probably doesn't work on mobile.
I'd love to see this become part of the actual game... it was pretty simple to implement.

Oh, lovely. I'll see if it works on mobile(when i'm not busy getting tetanus). I hope it's not like TCS where it spams LUA errors on mobile.
+1 to the opening post, why not? Also, if you are getting spammed by TCS, you are using the wrong version. The one on VOUPR is old and very broken. Look for the one by arf in community projects, or use https://ofborg.uk/tcs-plugins.zip (this one has makefriends, autonav and alertmachine only - the rest either does not work as intended on all platforms or I simply do not use them).
Yes, i don't think i remember the one that gave LUA errors, but it was the only one in TCS that would. Thanks, yoda.
