Might be a good drop for the overseers, they are not prolific in number, which would keep these items rare and expensive on the open market.

If you are suggesting another Fast Charge Cell with that low of a capacity, why not make the recharge rate 52 or something like that so it would be useful for running. There is not enough capacity to make it much good in PvP or PvE.

50 charge 100 cap IS good for running. It will take a LOT less time for the powercell to be at 25% or 100% than any other power cell, even at 45 charge it will be faster to warp than a FC.

-1 though

It really only would be useful for running away, something which some would argue is already too easy. The low grid would make equipping anything but a basic blaster a nono. Even with more grid the cell would be lame after more than a couple of shots. You couldn't even mine effectively with this, although I guess it would be ok for the prospecting missions.

If the stats need tweeking that's fine the powercell market does need more varients tho

as it is now only the IHDPC and fast charge / ultracharge are ever used by most

-1. 50 recharge and 100 capacity? It'll literally take two seconds to recharge to 100, meaning that you'll be able to Instantly[\b] jump after the jump animation gives you control of your ship.

Why?

This might actually be true, although I use the Heavy Cell quite a bit too, but adding a new cell will not improve this situation. The cells we have now are kind of balanced against other ships/equipment, free at the bottom of the tree, climbing up as you level to the fast charge - then maybe grabbing one of the more powerful cells later down the road. Adding a new cell will just make one of the current ones less used, and make the new one take it's place - or it would simply not be used at all - then the status quo ensues anyway.

Honestly, out of all the things VO needs, a new runner cell isn't it.
