add a command:
/topic
1 help, 11 nation, 100 ingame, 1000 off-topic, etc ...

list the default channels, with the intended purpose of each.

1 : Help channel
11 : Nation chat (Only members of the same nation can see this chat)
100 : General Chat

The drop-down list is preferred but if it's a choice between having nothing and having a command short term, the command would still be good to have.

+1 for some way to easily see the topic list. You guys can fight over how it's implemented.

@greenwall. I think everyone wants a better UI, but this can probably be implemented faster at the moment.

I would just like to point out that the above channel lists are not formal, and CtC no longer exists. They were simply pulled out of thin air after Sarahanne and a few of us were talking in game (hence the inclusion of guild channels, which nobody can actually enforce).
