deneb war credits.
why not get X amount of war credits. I say credits because bonds makes it sound like I'm supporting it in a manor of buying it, not earning it via the war itself.
war credits, will be Deneb form of currency, lack of a better word really when I say war credits and not saying bonds is above this text.
also to keep the idea, imma sometimes mark something with " and give it a number and close it with ", like what Wikipedia does, just to not give you all contently (blah blah) <-- that, it'll be at the bottom of the main idea
insight: Deneb form of currency, Deneb opens on combat 4 on mission log, and a way to enter Deneb system, either via going thing long way, or a capital system wise warpgate. this is a one way warp, you warp from you cap system and though to Deneb, unless your serco and is warped in GR, unless devs wanna make Deneb grey and add a serco and itani stations purely dedicated for edras, but we know by lore Deneb is already itani's.
main idea: we all know Deneb is quite bland and plain, or at least my stand point of seeing it and the fun spark of fighting for your nation isn't there anymore, the idea here is make /fighting/ in Deneb more smarter, real reasons to be good and not keep kamikazeing without punishment.
you start with a default loadout in the stations that are in Deneb"1". the default loadout, would start off simple, newbish I would say, a vulture mark 1, with duel neutron blasters mk2, then you get nation fighters ships with a little more weapon options, for the itani border guardian or the serco vulture guardian, but these cost X amount of war credits, same with their cell and weapons, that's were being smart and trained comes in play.
the more you work for your nation via NPC kills and wining the battle, you get war credits, it is refreshed every time the edras capture map is refreshed, that is up to debate but I see it as keeping it "fair" in a way.
depending the battle you get X set amount of war credits for wining and losing"2". NPC fighters give you x amount war credits, NPC bombers give you more/less than of the NPC fighters"3", tridents give more than fighters and bombers naturally, then the teradon, then the conni, and the HAC. those are up for debates, mainly killing a HAC and when I say killing, you should of done assisted at least minimal 10% of damage depending the heal and the thing you killed. will get you a DECENT amount of war credits to supply you or group"4" person if they request it, same sector rules apply, just a basic change of /givemoney but for war credits. also can we think of a better word than war credits its slowly annoying me typing this "5", war credits can be used from buying ships, weapons and cells from dedicated stations, to controlling capital ships"6". I like the idea of basically "sacrificing some of your war credits to give your nation another ticket/souls/lives" what ever inc calls it.
right now it has hit 2am, imma head to bed, ill continue this with and state what I'll add on later tomorrow. let me know and please debate this like normal human beings and say what to like/dislike what should be added or taken out, and what we should call war credits and how much is given.
but most of all, this an idea, if you dislike it and really wanna say mean words, say it in channel 100 in game and not on the forums.
"1"(we would need to dedicate a station in itani Deneb purely for this without issues, that's how I see it, and do the same on the Serco side of the wormhole)
"2"(winning gives you 100% reward, losers get none)
"3"(up for debate really, they are suicidal but also needed for heavy damage, I've seen their sudden usefulness, rarely)
"4" (an option in group could request for war credits, if they accept, they can give you X amount of war credits depending on the amount they have, they can give them a min of 40% of their war credits to you, I.E. /give war_credits x# amount or percentage to "scared star". and ill get x amount/percentage to my Deneb war credits account. NO ITS NOT CRYSTALS NOR CREDITS.)
"5"(lol, please save me its almost 2am and I got school tomorrow, failing drivers test and a lot of tests and exams coming, Wubba Lubba Dub Dub!)
"6-1" (controlling capital ships, I.E a class range of capital ships that players can control, for a dent and goliath, it go by classes, A.B.C. C is the lowest and crappiest of there, B will be less and will actually have turrets and a mainport weapon that can be added with the expense of more war credits, downsides to B class, armor is 50% half off than how it usually is, it'll say 100% but so you cant just repair it, not sure how to word this really oh and no shield, A gives you basically B class, but with actual armor health and not a 50% off, and a shield. if it leaves deneb system it'll auto self destruct, KEYS WONT BE USED, ALLIES CAN DOCK BUT CAPTIAN CAN DECIDE WHO CAN DOCK AND WHO CAN'T, just so you don't have a crap load of owner and user keys that are dead, btw bring it back 100% and like fresh and stuff returns back 80% of what you paid for in war credits, lower health, damaged turret or no shields makes you lose % of what you paid when returning, turrets cant come back after being repaired, when its gone, its gone, don't lose it.
"6-2"the rule of capships: are "you may only warp between the combat zones anywhere in Deneb, no empty zones of no combat, you may warp back to the station you bought it from. if you warp at the warp gates(doesn't matter if you cross, you have 20seconds to warp out or else you slowly get armor damage (by-passes shields if it has it) and you get 7% health lost every few seconds of being In sector. only way a dent/goliath owner may leave the capship is after its death or if they sold it back to the station they bought it from, no undocking.
"6-3" bigger capships: conni's and HACS are the most costly using of war credits, im not talking about the capella because I have no idea if its used in Deneb or not nor is in real usage, HAC as in the most of all the capships cost the most but gives its price a valid meaning, but remember, dying in a capship still counts as in an NPC capship type dying. hacs you can only move X amount of distance from the fight, same with connis, all gunners will fire like normal, unless a player is in one of the guns.

That's really long; but basically you're saying that.. the ability to continue playing Deneb would be based on your ability to spend your "war credits", which you earned from success in Deneb warfare?
Or that the bonuses (like capships and so on) would purely be above and beyond the generally available Deneb content, so it would just be an "incentive"?
I've long considered ways of incentivizing warfare play, like unlocking content through rank structure and advancement.
I've also considered letting F2P users earn Crystal through "warfare service", at some point, when things are a bit more robust.
But, I guess what might be helpful is to fully articulate the exact problem you're trying to solve here. You're a bit vague about that, and some of the issues of "not keep kamikazeing without punishment", which may be resolved just by some of the on-going gameplay tweaks.

yah I am basically saying that, I tend to lose track of what I'm talking about
"the ability to continue playing Deneb would be based on your ability to spend your "war credits", which you earned from success in Deneb warfare?"
my main issue with Deneb is the lack of gameplay and the risk/reward factors. ranks would be really nice to have, sounds like nice goal to have, same with the crystals. the "war credits" idea was mainly to make Deneb battles act more interactive.
