Corvus Ultra Posi Buff
Pretty much everyone that used the new weapon knows that it's underperforming, especially for the requirements it needs. I have two proposals to change that.
1) Lower the grid and keep all the stats the same. It should be 4 - 10 grid so you can have multiple of them. It will basically turn them into slower firing AAPBs with more damage.
2) This will try to make it the Posi equivalent to the Corvus Widowmaker, the 18 grid Neut and will focus on making the stats similar. Keep the grid at 18 but reduce the delay to 0.21 (Same delay as AAPB, Widowmaker has the same delay as a Neut Mk3) and increase the velocity to at least 215m/s. It could also be 220m/s to go with the theme of Posis having a higher velocity and more damage per shot as a compromise of Neuts having a higher rate of fire and more DPS.

Hmm I guess no one plays this weapon because of the big restrictions to get it in the first place + it's not good so we won't have much input here and it will probably never be looked at again or buffed :/
It could be that other people were celebrating Christmas, etc.. I don't think we need to get into apocalyptic thinking over a lack of responses.
If you think this weapon is under performing, it's because you're using it wrong. This isn't a dueling weapon or a battle weapon. It's a hunting weapon, meant to be mounted on a Greyhound and shot while turboing after prey. In that scenario, your single biggest concern is DPE, which this weapon has in spades.
To show how much this matters, consider the fact that while chasing in a Greyhound with a Fast Charge, you only have 5 EPS available to shoot with. At that rate, an AAP with its 47.06 DPE will only be able to output a sustained 235.3 damage per second. The Widowmaker and the plain old N2 perform better; their respective DPEs of 50 and 54.55 give them sustainable turbo DPS of 250 and 272.75. The Mega Posi's 66.67 DPE gave it 333.35 DPS, back when we could equip it on a Hound. But even that pales before the CUP's 83.33 DPE and 416.66 DPS.
Of course, there's also burst damage to consider. After all, if you're using a Fast Charge for optimal chasing, you've got 250 energy you can unload. Assuming you're in a Hound and you don't let up on your turbo, all the other small-port weapons listed above can deliver a total of 12k to 15.5k damage before running you dry (that range includes both single-weapon and dual-weapon combos (where grid allows)). A lone MP could get you 17.9k, back when it was usable. But the CUP? This beast provides 23.9k damage.
Is it great if you get pulled into a proper fight? No. But that seems like a reasonable tradeoff to me, given how good of a pirate weapon it is. It doesn't need to be excellent at everything.

I answered this in Waf's Buff post.
Could the devs perhaps share their opinion on this? I'm afraid this weapon is not used enough to get much feedback here but I really like this weapon and would like to see it being a viable option to use. I think an 18 grid weapon should be quite powerful, at least enough to compete with two Hive Posis for example. The stat changes could be similar to the Widowmaker and Neutron Mk2 since this has been proven to be a quite balanced design.
-1 because I agree with Pizza's assessment. It's well thought out and makes sense.
-1. Also agreed with pizza on this. Its a chase gun. Not a pvp gun.
I think the weapon is fine the way it is. It was intended to fulfill a specific purpose. Lecter outlined the concept of high DPE, as a chase weapon, back in the original 2016 discussion. It's doing exactly that.
Heini wants the weapon to be something else. It isn't that. Please note Pizza's patient, repeated, and carefully-written rebuttals to the entire concept of changing this weapon.
While we may not make specialized content very often, we do make them, and they do have a place. Not everything has to be super-generic, either. Not everything has to be all things to all people.
Similarly, not everything has to be The Most Popular Weapon. In fact, any time that happens, we're probably doing something wrong, because things that are consistently The Most Popular (long-term) may also be overpowered.

Can we have a side-grade with drain please?
