Make the unrat dent harder to kill
The killing of the unrats has been pretty much been figured out by everyone. The unrats are are a great addition to the VO universe. I think they need a few tweaks though.
1) The Raptors should attempt to turbo in front of a capital ship and then unleash their pcbs.
2) The unrat fighters need to stop bunching up so much. They end up chain-reacting on each other.
3) The respawn rate for the unrat dent escort should be random.
4) The unrat dent's primary (lp) weapon should be the orange flaming balls of doom that the terradons normally have. (and no, it shouldn't drop yet).
5) Some Unrats should drop mines (L-mines) when they get close to a pilot. This means they should be piloting taurs and rags as well.
6) occasional there should be "smart" unrats that don't jump straight to the dent sector.
7) some unrats should give chase to a pilot and follow a pilot sector to sector
8) unrats should be capable of scooping loot.

Why do you love to post purely anti-fun stuff all the time that makes the gameplay for everyone worse? Do you love to see us suffer?
Change it to an unrat teradon, problem solved.
Suffering has nothing to do with it. Pilots of all types in this game are quite crafty. We have all basically defeated the current unrats. Even new players are defeating them. The game needs to evolve. I'm not suggesting that the unrats be made impossible, just that they be made a greater hurdle to leap over. This is grey space after all, and should be difficult. If you wish something easy, I suggest you stay in nation space.
Side note, unrats have been spotted in Deneb. This means they have been able to slip past nation defenses, or even worse have been invited by the major nations. Which means the Serco and Itani governments may have declared war on grey space. This means that the unaligned pirates may actually be acting under letters of marque. This being the case, the acquirement of a Terradon that wash suggests is actually plausible.
It's not just this suggestion, almost everything you suggest on the forums seems to have the goal of making the game less fun and enjoyable.
Greyspace is supposed to be dangerous primarily because of other players not NPCs. Unrats came back because nearly all the player pirates stopped playing.
or they joined ITAN

...Is this some nice RP or are you being legit they showed up there? XD
Anyways, the idea sounds interesting, but I'm not sure ALL of those sound great *together*, at least at first. maybe stage it so we can find a more comfortable spot without instantly destroying less skilled pilots like myself?

They legit show up there. If you enter a Deneb battle and you don't take the mission AND you shoot something, the unrats are unleashed upon you and they hunt you down. It is glorious!
I like this idea. Currently I do not bother with the unrats because I find them to be the 'just wrong' level of difficulty. They are difficult enough that I can't quite do it mindlessly while doing something else, and too easy to hold my interest when I actually decide to end them.
Weird, I entered a fighter skirmish and shot serco ships but saw no unrats.
I think instead of making them take longer to kill let's make them an actual threat.
Most of the times I can't even see them in the first place even though I can hear the battle music. That's because you can easily deepspace them with a ship with infinite turbo, the Warthog Mk 2 for example. I have two solutions for that.
1)
Replace the Raptors with Corvus Greyhounds, perhaps give them the camo version for a nice touch, and give them either two PCBs or one PCB and one Neut. They could also get faster than 225m/s to avoid being deepspaced by player Hounds.
2)
Make it so they stay within a 5 or 10 km radius of the wormhole. They would stop chasing a player if he gets too far away and they simply return to the wormhole and wait.

The problem with that, is that is a leash. Then I can just sit at the limit of the leash and kill them with impunity. They should give chase as long as some is running, and reinforcements should show up to guard the WH.
Then 1) might be better. Greyhounds fit unrats more than Raptors anyways. But maybe they should have let's say 230m/s turbo to catch player hounds and to sop them from deepspacing them. Or 3) When all players leave the sector all the unrats will jump in and out of the sector and get back to the wormhole.
How about half the unrats follow the deepspacer with a greyhound and warts/raptors and the other half wait at the wh
