I think it would be nice if the Greyhound got an inbuilt Add-On Scanner with the same range as the Cargo Scanner. It is mainly a pirate ship and uses it's Cargo Scanner to see the potential drop of a ship and if it's worth attacking. An Add-on Scanner would also be fitting because equipment can also drop sometimes and it might be worth to destroy it and you could see the weapons of a ship and that could help in deciding whether or not an attack might be a good or bad idea.
I think an Add-on Scanner seems pretty fitting for the Hound because of that.

The hound is intended for chasing undefended ships. Not seeing everything.

It's a pirate ship, it's meant for chasing and seeing if it's even worth chasing in the first place. It isn't only mean for chasing because it has the cargo scanner already.

-1 It is not a specific pirate ship. Only top level factation specific ships get addon scanners. The hound is acquired pretty early on(and requires less Corvus faction than the corvault).

Remember that addon scanners are hive drops as well. Maybe there can be a manufactured Mk2 hound that includes an addon scanner in its build.

If you want one, they're free in Edras. If you just have to run two guns, get a Wraith, Valk, or Maud then mount your scanner.
