Add the option to make the target box change color based on the distance of your target. I had written a plugin that did this, but the last update seems to have broken it. It is also something that other pilots seem to really find useful. I don't think changing the functionality entirely would be desirable to most, but having the option by default would be super useful.

+1. While on the topic of targetting, is it possible to overlay our own image on a target? just imagining a more complex thing for recording purposes.

Yea, I looked into it a bit and seems that the target box color is getting automatically reset to the "enemy/friend" status right after you try to over-ride that with radar.SetSelColor(x,x,x). This may be something is actually best suited as a plugin ultimately, but also I found so much improvement in combat after making this plugin that I almost feel that this alone justifies adding to the game. I've not heard of anyone on the fence about this plugin either. It seems rather unanimous that it's a massive help.
