I like all the points but maybe the Grid should be 18. I'd like "Ultra" in the name too, so it can be viewed as a special weapon similar to the CUP. Maybe "Corvus Ultra Shrieker" flare. A.K.A. the CUSs flare. Damned thing is bound to make someone cuss.

So players who are hated by all three major factions get access to these Corvus Ultra weapons. But, what high-end weapons are available to the Itani and Serco soldiers who are fighting a war? As far as I can tell, only ships are restricted based on standing. If pirates are going to get a bunch of new high-end weapons, it needs to be balanced with new high-end weapons available to the major factions.

Do Itani and Serco soldiers want to be limited by high grid weapons? I don't think so. They get issued the Kalashnikovs of the VO world. Clucky weaponry that works and works well. Members of the I and S militaries do have access to the Ineubis Raven close to the deneb battle. Which has a grid of 8. If they want something special, then they can ask their friends to acquire the special weaponry through back channels. The gods know there are plenty of back channels in the VO galaxy.

They need something to defend both of their borders with. The Ineubis raven near deneb, and some other weapon near grey space to protect their borders from pirates with high-end weaponry.

Pilots who are tri kos can't buy faction ships. They are already incredibly disadvantaged.

Which faction ship doesn't have a similar alternative available in greyspace, other than the Prometheus?

I think the ammo count is a little high for something that does that much damage.

There is no prom, wtd, svg, udv, or Valk in grey. And before you say anything, the cormaud is not an alt to the valk(unless you think the Rev series in a good alt to the prom.)

The only true nation analogous ship would be the Rev C.

just to clear something up, you CAN have access to nation ships, If you were smart enough to stock them, so i feel that point has no initial value to be honest. i like the idea though, so +1
