How about adding a new lp radar that can double the overall sensor range? This wouldn't change A lot but it does get annoying when there's players in sector that are 15k out or spybots sitting in sector we can't see. Being able to see 10k out with a addon could lead to interesting situations. Or at the least make getting rid of certain things in game easier to find

It's true that we need equipment to fight spotter bots but some just log off or just jump to another sector once you get close. But +1 for Radar Add-ons.

How would this help? If you can increase your sensor range to spot them more easily, then they can just as easily increase their sensor range to watch you from even further away. At best it balances out, and in practice it would actually work in the spotter's favor since odds are you don't have the enhancer equipped when you come across them, so now you have to go equip it or you'll have an even harder time finding them.

Since spybots are no longer allowed gameplay, if you see one and are sure it's a bot rather than a coincidence, just report it to the devs via support ticket (include time and location) so they can examine the data and improve their detection algorithms.

Several guilds still use them, but make new ones each time. Can't really stop it
