Most of times, when heading to a new place, the fist thing new players like me would want to do is find the station, but it can be hard some times to traverse the asteroids so I would like the option to target the nearest station dock so it would be easier to find

it could show up on the screen like the markings of a jump, like a blue circle telling how far it is

My vote would be to have the targeting arrow automatically point toward the station when there's no target selected and no route plotted.

I think stations should be targetable for other reasons, so +1. But if you can't find a station with radar you might be playing the wrong game.

Before an update broke a plugin, we used to be able to target station parts. This was helpful, because we could target a station's dock and line up our cap ships to the dock in first person mode.

It would be nice if the station's docks would be targetable again (but without a plugin).
