What do you guys think about a new system, maybe call it Midas, located in the empty space in the middle of the map and connecting Dau, Sol II and Itan. It would most likely be a system like Deneb due to it's strategic importance for a possible invasion on the enemy capitol system. It would also make traveling faster but that comes with increased risks: It will be a heaven for player pirates, you can be shot down by the enemy and unrats camp the wormholes when there is no active Skirmish going on. Alternatively it could have more frequent blockades at the Serco and Itani wormhole and more frequent NPC pirates at the Dau wormhole. As for stations, I can't imagine it having a corvus station because of the constant presence of the three major factions. Maybe it could have some shady greyspace factions like Tunguska, Ineubis and Aelous. It could even have a station similar to Latos M-7, for future manufacturing missions. Maybe it could even have another Latos N-2, a station with a dynamic economy. Midas, which was the name of a king in mythology that could turn things that he touched into gold, would be rich in rare ores which would attract many miners hoping for easy money and at the same time pirates that hunt said miners, all because of money and greed. It's a great lore as well, in my opinion, young unfortunate pilots in search of easy money are trying their luck in Midas and many die because of this greed.
