Simple idea, creating a large version of the charged cannon using the Positron Blaser and Mega Positron Blaster as a guide
(+50% damage, increased velocity and lowered the license requirements. But I increased the licenses so it needs heavy weapons because I think that makes sense because it is a large port weapon).

Need more weapons period, this could be useful make sure to give it high grid like 8 or so.

Why should have it 8 grid? I was using an already existing example, the positron and mega positron and all it does is give +50% damage and +15m/s. I don't see a need to increase it because this is what the devs seem to see as balanced. In fact they even lowered the licenses for the mposi from 5 to something that even f2p players can buy. I increased the licenses but only a bit in a way that I think would make sense.

The mposi is a badge item...

8 grid is rather high. Charged weapons are somewhwt self limiting due to the precharge requirement.
Try out a Hornet with 4 charged cannons and you will get the effect.
