My thoughts on capital ships
How long did it take to build your cap? Months? Yea me too. So to watch npc caps firing on me with all their turrets and then mine can shoot 1 at a time?!?! Thats not cool. Give us a system to fire them, obviously players want that, theres plugs that dont quite get it right, or are so good you (devs) have to throttle em back with delays to please the masses. Thats not the answer imo. Give us a command to set turret groups, another to fire on my target, or to let me set a target manually and be able to leave said turret to pilot without it disengaging. I think capital ships are one of your center pieces to vendetta, its a big reason why ppl sub in the first place. Ur doing GREAT work and i have faith you will find a solution that doesnt involve making alternate accounts or pushing the boundaries of ur coding with plugins. Thanks for reading
Incarnate has supposedly been working on a "Tactical" mode for capships that may have such a system in place, but he's also working on...everything. We can only wait and see what he is able to make with what little time he has.

Only months? I remember all the late nights i spent traveling 32,000 meters (more or less) to the entrance dock of M7, then having to make the trip over and over. (uphill, both ways in the snow. And i had it easy. The dents built before i even started playing required even more resources).

I think for capships 3 things needed so things make sense.
1. Some kinda of turret automation.
2. More varieties of models.
3. More cap stations! ( Maybe even a super huge station in m7 again just a lil smaller..)

I remember the pain of the old m7 - i carted most of my dent stuff there by xc hehehe it was evil... But i wish the station were still arouns somewhere, it was an incredible scale. And... out of this world compared to other stations in the vo universe, maybe it could return as a hive infested station relic hehe debris all round and nice smoky graphics :D

I've been mining when the pirates are on, and hauling the ore to M7 when they're not around. So far I've done all of my hauling with an XC and BHM, with frequent scouting to make sure the place is still clear. All of the commodities for the final build are in place. Now it's time to grind away at the manufacturable components.... I've been playing for about three months now, but have only recently begun taking this build seriously.
