Station Market System

Sep 04, 2018 Heini link
Players can put items up for sale in one station and other players can see all the items for sale and buy them.

The seller would have to pay a fee of 10% of the buy price.

The interface would look like the one in Latos N-2. You could see the price per item, the amount that's left and the stats.

Items put up for sale still use station storage to avoid abuse but will get the items will be locked unless the offer is cancelled.

Each station would have a different market.

Equipment would require licenses as usual except in greyspace.

The ability to sell ships is up for debate.

I personally think we should be able to sell ships with the usual license requirements. This would mean F2P players won't be able to get ships they aren't supposed to have and it would come in very handy because it would safe long travels to buy, for example a greyhound and bring it back to nation space.

Another suggestion up for debate: Selling nation specific ships, like the Valk or Prom, without faction standing requirements in greyspace stations.

Example:

I put 100 SSS up for sale in Latos N-2. I sell them at 20k per piece and the buyer would pay 20k but I will only get 18k.
I could however sell them at 22222 per piece and get 20k.

This would mean the normal trading system would be more convenient but you can still sell items when you're offline.

First nation specific ship will akways be nation specfic, that was the main reason fir the faction redux.

Second, every possible convulution of in station trading has been suggested, this is nothing new and has already been argued over and over again.

-1 for continuing to rehash this subject.
