Quit letting the griefers win GS
It seems certain players are receiving favortism from the development staff. Said players are allowed to break any rules they wish but if anyone else catches on or figures out how to do what they are they instantly whine to the devs and the devs come running to save there exploits. Seems this business practice has cost more than a few subs over the years and will cost many more. here's my suggestion quit letting the biggest griefers of the game keep deluding you into thinking your doing the right thing all your doing is the right thing for one to two players and telling the rest of us to go f ourselves.
Again with the slandering. Quit whining about not being able to exploit unintended game mechanics.
Hmm seems your definition of slander and mine are different as no names where given....do you have a guilty conscience? Given your response I would guess so. Instead of helping perpetuate this problem maybe you should help fix it. Who knows this favortism could be used against you as well someday.
Example of favortism at work:spotters being used that have my guilds name in the character name that have no affiliation with us but are allowed to be used and claimed as ours to discredit us to the entire playerbase this group has gotten away with doings this to two guilds now with no repricusion. Now tell me how that's not favortism.

Incarnate usually says that exploitive/cheating behavior is dealt with administratively in a private manner so as to not cause more time-sucking drama. The unfortunately consequence of this is often a public appearance of non-action at the least, and condoning of the behavior at the most.
It's only when things explode into public discussion and drama that publicly measurable consequences are implimented (Sieger's pks come to mind, lol).
It's frustrating, for sure. But it is what it is. VO wouldn't be around if they spent all their resources on a better system of handling cheating and exploitive behavior.

Yes but he hasn't given any names, thus it remains safe for the forums.

This is not helpful and clearly just looking to start drama. Please do not post something like this on the Suggestions forums again. Locking this thread now.

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. There is a strong tendency to ascribe motivations to our actions or timing that have nothing to do with reality.

I.. guess it would be, if I had any idea what you were talking about? If you're concerned about some bots that use your guild's name, but aren't affiliated with your guild, shouldn't you just open a ticket about that? We generally frown on impersonation of players or guilds.
It's always possible we miss a ticket here or there, but we're pretty diligent overall. I haven't seen a ticket on this subject, personally, and I read 99% of them. We haven't had any tickets from you since April.
So, anyway, maybe you need to relax and not be so pessimistic about us? If you have a support ticket issue, then open a support ticket. Don't open a Suggestions thread to claim how terrible we are, when we haven't actually.. done anything.
Keep in mind, we're busting our asses working a lot of hours in a week, on active development. The last thing we want to burn mental energy on is what some griefer is upset about, or that some guild has a political issue. We've been constantly accused of "favoritism" ever since launch, both for and against about every major guild, and I always find it.. bizzare.. because clearly the people leveling the accusations have no idea how little interest or time we have for guild political BS.
I'm interested in doing things that I see as best for the game as a whole, from a general design standpoint, and I'll do that whether it's popular or not. And yet, I'm still open to alternative opinions, viewpoints and feedback on here. If some specific guild or player ends up overjoyed about a decision I make.. I probably don't even know, nor is that likely to have bearing on my decision? I mean, I like making "the players" happier about the progress of the game, but ultimately my decisions are based on whatever I think is best for the "overall game", and the long-run, which is often at the expense of individual contentious voices.
